PES 2017 FIFA World Cup 2026 Scoreboard – Download & Install Guide
Introduction
Let me tell you something. I have been playing PES 2017 for years now and I still enjoy it. Not because I have no choice. Because nothing else on my phone or PC gives me that same feeling during a tense match. The weight of the ball, the way a through ball splits two defenders, a last minute header that wins you the group. Still hits different.
But here is what was bothering me lately. I set up the whole World Cup 2026 thing. 48 teams, updated kits, real squads. Kicked off England versus USA, group stage. Great atmosphere. Then I looked up at the scoreboard and it was the same one from 2016. Nothing about World Cup. Nothing about 2026. Just that plain old default display sitting there like nothing has changed.
Killed the vibe honestly. So I went and found a proper scoreboard for this. One that actually looks like the real FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcast. This post covers what it does, how to get it working, and what to do if it gives you trouble.
What a Scoreboard Mod Does
For anyone who has not modded PES 2017 before, here is the short version. The scoreboard is that box at the top of your screen showing team names, the score, and the match clock. It is there every minute of every match you play.
The default one in PES 2017 is just a plain design. Nothing wrong with it but it has no connection to any specific tournament. When you are running a World Cup setup with correct kits and real players, that plain scoreboard sticks out badly.
This mod swaps it out for one built around the FIFA World Cup 2026 look. Colors, fonts, logo — the whole thing. Does not touch your gameplay at all. Just changes what you see on screen. And since you are looking at that scoreboard constantly, the difference shows in every single match.
What Comes in This Pack
- Main match scoreboard rebuilt with FIFA World Cup 2026 design
- Halftime and full time screens with matching tournament styling
- Extra time display included and working correctly
- Penalty shootout display with individual kick tracking
- Works across all stages — group stage through to the final
- Fonts and color scheme follow real 2026 tournament branding throughout
Best Mods to Use Alongside This
If you want the full World Cup 2026 feel in PES 2017, this scoreboard works best paired with the other updates already on Pichatz Official. All three links below are PES 2017 mods from previous posts.
Run all four together — World Cup kits, club kits, facepack, and this scoreboard — and PES 2017 stops feeling like 2016 and starts feeling like something you actually want to sit down with for a full World Cup campaign.

Free download. Works with standard PC version of PES 2017. Read the install guide below before starting.
⬇ Download ScoreboardHow to Install It
Take this step by step. Scoreboard files need to go into a specific place inside your PES 2017 folder. Wrong location and nothing changes in game.
- Download the scoreboard file using the button above.
- Extract it if it comes as a zip or rar. Your scoreboard files should be visible inside once extracted.
- Find your PES 2017 folder on your PC. Usually inside Program Files or Program Files x86 under the Konami folder.
- Before you replace anything, copy your original scoreboard files and paste them somewhere safe. Desktop works fine. This backup saves you if anything goes wrong.
- If you use Sider, install the scoreboard through Sider. Check the download notes for how the files are set up for Sider. It is cleaner and easier to manage that way.
- For direct installation without Sider, paste the new files into the correct PES 2017 folder and replace when prompted.
- Open PES 2017 and play a quick match between two national teams. Check the new scoreboard is showing with the right look.
- If that looks good, set up a short tournament and check across group stage and knockout matches too.
About fifteen minutes total if you are comfortable with PES modding. Bit longer if this is your first time.

Final Thoughts
Building a proper World Cup setup in PES 2017 takes a few pieces working together. Squads, kits, faces, and a scoreboard that actually fits the tournament. The first three are already available through previous Pichatz posts. This scoreboard is the last piece.
Put them all together and you have a World Cup 2026 experience in PES 2017 that actually feels like it belongs in 2026. 48 nations, the right kits, real faces, and a scoreboard that matches the broadcast you are watching on TV at the same time.
Download it, back up your files first, install carefully. Enjoy the tournament.
