FIFA 14 Squad Update 2026/27 – How to Transfer Players Using Creation Master 15
Introduction
I have been getting messages from people asking how to update their FIFA 14 squads manually using Creation Master 15. Not just download a squad file and load it — actually go in and move players around yourself. Transfer Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest to Manchester City. Sign whoever you want to whatever club you want. Make your FIFA 14 database reflect the real 2026/27 season.
It is not as complicated as it looks. Once you do it a couple of times it becomes second nature. This guide walks through the exact process step by step so you can start updating your own squad file without depending on anyone else to do it for you.
What You Need Before Starting
- Creation Master 15 installed on your PC — full setup guide linked below
- A squad file to work with — either the default FIFA 14 database or an existing updated file
- Transfer information — player names, clubs leaving, clubs joining, loan details if relevant
Understanding the Creation Master 15 Interface
Before moving any players around, it helps to understand what you are looking at.
Left side — current team roster. Players already contracted to the selected club. Scroll here to find who you want to transfer out.
Right side — available players. Search by club or role to find players you want to bring in.
Formation view top right — shows starting eleven, bench, and reserves. New transfers land in reserves by default until you place them manually.
How to Transfer a Player — Step by Step
Using Elliot Anderson moving from Nottingham Forest to Manchester City as the example throughout.
- Open Creation Master 15 and load your squad database file. Wait for it to finish loading before doing anything else.
- Pick the club the player is leaving from the dropdown on the left. For this example that is Nottingham Forest. Their squad loads up on the left panel once you select them.
- Go through the left panel roster until you spot Elliot Anderson. Click his name. His info shows up in the player section above the list.
- Switch the right side dropdown to his destination club. Manchester City in this case. That club's squad now appears on the right.
- Scroll through the right side list until you find Elliot Anderson listed as an available player coming from Nottingham Forest. Click his name on the right to confirm.
- Both panels are set up correctly now. Hit the Transfer button sitting between the two panels. Anderson moves across and shows up in the Manchester City list.
- Find Anderson in the Manchester City roster and click him. Put in the Joining Date — the actual date he signed in real life. Fix the contract end date too so it matches his real deal.
- Loan deal? Scroll down a bit in the player details and tick the Is Loaned box. A dropdown appears — pick the club he is going to on loan. That is all it takes to mark him as a loan rather than a permanent signing.
- Once all fields are filled correctly, save your work through File then Save or the save button in the toolbar. Save regularly — do not wait until all transfers are done.
Placing the Player in the Squad
This part catches people out. After a transfer is done, the player does not automatically go into the first eleven or even the bench. He sits in reserved players.
Open the formation view for his new club. Find the reserved section below the formation — your newly transferred player will be there. From the reserved section you can move him into a starting position on the pitch or put him on the bench. If you skip this step, he stays in reserves and will not be available for selection in the game even though the transfer is complete.
Doing Multiple Transfers
When updating a full 2026/27 season squad file, you will be doing this for dozens of players across dozens of clubs. A few things that make the process faster — work through one club at a time rather than jumping around. Complete all outgoing transfers for a club first, then do incoming. Save after every ten or fifteen transfers. Keep a written list of all the moves you want to make before you start so you are not stopping to look things up mid-session.
