Understanding the Option File
The option file handles squad and transfer data in PES 2017. It is different from the CPK files that cover kits, faces, and graphics.
In PES 2017, squad data is not stored in the game files themselves — it lives in a separate option file the game reads. The T99 option file contains all the 2026/27 transfer and lineup data.
You load it through the game's edit menu rather than through DpFileList Generator. This is important to understand before installing — the option file goes in a specific location and is loaded differently from everything else in the pack.
Installation Order
Getting the order right matters with a pack this size. Wrong order means things do not load correctly or conflict with each other.
- Install the base game first if starting fresh. The T99 description includes a game link for anyone who needs it.
- Install T99 Patch V20 as the main CPK file. Extract and move the CPK into your PES 2017 installation folder.
- Run DpFileList Generator v1.8 after placing the main patch CPK. This generates the file list that tells the game which CPK files to load.
- Install the Kits Pack — all three parts. Place all three in the CPK folder then run DpFileList Generator again. Then install Kitpack 2026/27 the same way.
- Install Facepack and Tattoo Pack as separate CPK files. Same process each time — place in folder, run DpFileList Generator.
- Install Boot Pack 2026 and Graphic Menu as separate CPK files with the same process.
- Install Scoreboard Server following the same CPK method.
- Load the option file inside the game. Launch PES 2017, go to Edit then Data Management then Import, and select the T99 option file. This applies the 2026/27 squad and transfer data.
- Launch a quick match and check menus, scoreboard, and a club roster to confirm everything loaded correctly.
