PES 2017 YosfX Patch FC 2026 Update V2.1 – Full Install Guide
Introduction
I held off writing about this one for a few days. Wanted to actually go through everything in the pack properly before saying anything about it. YosfX just dropped version 2.1 of his FC 2026 patch for PES 2017 and it is honestly one of the bigger single updates this game has seen in a while.
The World Cup 2026 is still going in North America and this patch brings that whole visual package into PES 2017. New menus, scoreboard, stadiums — the game looks genuinely different with this installed. Not just a texture swap here and there. The whole feel changes. This post goes through what is in the pack, how to get it working, and the problems you might run into.
Who Is YosfX
Credit goes where it belongs. YosfX built everything in this patch. Menus, scoreboard, stadium pack, manager facepacks, fix files, guide videos in five languages — that is not a weekend project. It takes real dedication and he released it for free.
If you share this patch anywhere, keep his name on it. The modding community keeps going because people like YosfX put in the work without asking for anything back.
What Is Inside Version 2.1
- New Graphic Menu FIFA World Cup 2026 — main menu screens rebuilt with 2026 tournament branding
- New Main Menu FIFA World Cup 2026 — navigation structure redesigned alongside the graphic update
- New Scoreboard FIFA World Cup 2026 — in-match display updated to real 2026 broadcast style
- New Patch Managers Tool — updated tool for managing the patch alongside other mods
- New Managers FacePack — real faces for 7 managers added
- New 4 Guide Videos in 5 Different Languages — tutorial videos included inside the pack
- New Stadium Pack FIFA World Cup 2026 — venues updated to 2026 World Cup stadiums

- Fix Game Crash — known crash causes from older versions dealt with
How This Changes Your PES 2017
The menu change hits you first. Every session in PES 2017 starts in the menus — squad management, match setup, Career Mode navigation. Running World Cup 2026 graphics there instead of the 2016 default makes the whole experience feel current before a ball is kicked.
The scoreboard is what you live with during matches. It is on screen the entire time. The V2.1 version puts the real 2026 World Cup design there for every match you play. Those who already have a standalone World Cup 2026 scoreboard from an earlier post — this update replaces it with the newer V2.1 design. Worth the swap.
The stadium pack rounds it out visually. Pitching up at a properly built 2026 World Cup venue changes the atmosphere entirely. Stack the Natural Pitch GFX on top of this and the visual experience gets even better.
New menus + new scoreboard + new stadiums + manager faces = PES 2017 that looks nothing like 2016. This is the most complete single visual update available for PES 2017 right now.

File is 3.3GB. Stable connection before starting. Enough storage space before extracting. Both of those matter more than people think before they find out the hard way.
- Grab the file from the link above. The archive is named Update 2.1 YosfX patch for PES 2017.
- Open the archive with WinRAR or 7-Zip once it finishes. Do not try to open it while it is still downloading.
- Back up your current PES 2017 folder before touching anything. Copy the whole thing somewhere safe. Takes time. Worth it if something goes sideways.
- Open the guide videos YosfX included in the pack before moving any files. He made them in five languages for a reason. Watch the one in your language first.
- Follow the installation steps from the guide video. The patch uses the CPK method. Files go into the PES 2017 directory and DpFileList Generator handles registration.
- If you have an older YosfX version installed, V2.1 files will overwrite what is already there. Where the guide says replace rather than merge — do exactly that.
- Launch PES 2017 and check the main menu first. World Cup 2026 graphics showing means it worked. Then run a quick match and check the scoreboard.

Final Thoughts
What YosfX put together here is genuinely impressive for a free release. Menus, scoreboard, stadiums, manager facepacks, fix files, guide videos in five languages — the level of care in this pack shows.
PES 2017 in 2026 with V2.1 installed looks nothing like the game that shipped in 2016. If you have not updated the visuals in a while, this is the one to start with. Get it installed, watch the guide videos, and run a World Cup campaign that actually looks like the one happening right now.
