Player faces get most of the attention in facepack updates, but tattoos are what actually sell the likeness once the camera zooms in for a close-up. This pack covers close to 800 players, matching sleeve and arm tattoos to the guys who actually have them in real life, built to sit on top of your existing T99 Patch setup.

⚠️

Important for T99 V20 users: starting with V20, tattoos are no longer packaged as their own CPK file. You'll need to encrypt the option file yourself using the T99 team's tool to enable them — this pack still applies, but that extra step comes first if you're on V20.

Installation Guide

1. Join the WhatsApp Channel below and download all 3 parts from the links shared there (Part 1, 2, and 3 — you need all three)
2. Put all 3 parts in the same folder, then extract the archive with WinRAR or another extractor (it will combine them automatically)
3. If you're on T99 V20, encrypt the option file first using the T99 team's tool so tattoos are enabled
4. Copy the CPK file into your PES 2017 content folder alongside your existing patch files
5. Run DpFileList Generator v1.8 to register the new file
6. Launch PES 2017 and check a player known for tattoos to confirm it's working

Common Problems and Fixes

Tattoos not showing on V20

Make sure you encrypted the option file with the T99 tool first — V20 dropped the CPK-based tattoo config, so this step isn't optional anymore.

Tattoos showing on the wrong players

Confirm your squad IDs match the same T99 database version this pack was built for — a mismatched database will map tattoos to the wrong player slots.

File won't register after running the generator

Double check the CPK actually landed in the same folder as your other patch files, not a subfolder from the extract.

FAQ

Does this work with T99 Patch V20?

Yes, but you need to encrypt the option file yourself first since V20 no longer ships tattoos as a plug-in CPK.

Do I need the matching facepack too?

Not strictly, but tattoos look best paired with an up-to-date facepack since both are built around the same player likenesses.

Will this slow down my game?

No noticeable impact — tattoo textures are small compared to face or kit files.

Final Thoughts

Small detail, but it's the kind of thing that makes replays and close-ups actually look right. Grab the pack, handle the V20 encryption step if it applies to you, and you're set.
